The President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, recently paid an official visit to Cairo to strengthen the ties between the UAE and Egypt. During his visit, he met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to discuss the two nations’ strategic partnership and ways to enhance cooperation between the UAE and Egypt. The visit is expected to have a positive impact on the relationship between the two countries and pave the way for further economic, cultural and diplomatic collaborations between the UAE and Egypt.

Egypt and the UAE have always enjoyed close cultural and economic ties. Over the years, the two countries have collaborated on several projects, including the development of infrastructure, tourism, and energy. The UAE is also one of the largest investors in Egypt, with over $7 billion in
investments spanning several sectors such as real estate, logistics, and tourism.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed several issues of mutual interest, including regional security, counter-terrorism, and economic cooperation. The UAE has been a staunch supporter of Egypt's fight against terrorism and has provided significant military and financial assistance to the country. The two leaders also discussed ways to expand trade and investment between the two countries.
